Physician Bio:

Dr. Mulrooney specializes in general ophthalmology and cataract surgery. Dr. Mulrooney served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and as the Director of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgical Service at the University of Kansas until 2004 when he joined VisionAmerica to provide cataract surgery in north Alabama. Dr. Mulrooney is board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has also authored ophthalmologic publications.

 

What do you enjoy most about being an eye doctor/surgeon? I enjoy helping patients see.

 

Do you have any pets? I have two dogs

 

How do you spend your time away from the office? I enjoy spending time with family and fly fishing.
