Lauren Windham, O.D., FAAO

A board-certified optometrist with advanced training in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease and comprehensive eye care. She provides care for a wide range of conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, cataracts, dry eye syndrome, age-related macular degeneration, and refractive vision disorders. Dr. Windham also has experience fitting specialty contact lenses for patients with complex visual needs.

Dr. Windham earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry and completed a residency program focused on ocular disease and primary eye care at West Tennessee Eye, where she gained extensive experience managing medical eye conditions in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.

Recognized for her professional excellence and leadership, Dr. Windham has received the Young Optometrist of the Year honor in both Tennessee and Virginia. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and holds board certification through the American Board of Optometry.

She maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association and regional optometric societies, and is committed to ongoing clinical education and patient advocacy. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Windham has participated in volunteer medical mission programs serving both local communities and international populations.
