Dr. Tracy Schroeder-Swartz is a highly experienced consultative optometrist at VisionAmerica, serving patients in Huntsville, Decatur, and Scottsboro, Alabama. She specializes in cornea and anterior segment disease, as well as surgical co-management for patients undergoing advanced ophthalmic procedures.

With more than 30 years of experience in optometry, Dr. Schroeder-Swartz brings deep expertise in managing complex ocular conditions, including dry eye disease, corneal disorders, and post-surgical care.

Dr. Schroeder-Swartz earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry, where she also completed a master’s degree in physiological optics. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, reflecting her advanced clinical expertise and commitment to excellence in patient care.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Schroeder-Swartz is a recognized leader in optometry and ophthalmic education.
