Reed B. Parker, O.D., FAAO

Dr. Reed B. Parker is a consultative optometrist at Southeast Eye Specialists, serving patients in Knoxville, Morristown, and Sevierville, Tennessee. He specializes in surgical co-management and the diagnosis and treatment of complex eye conditions, providing comprehensive care across a wide range of ocular diseases.

Dr. Parker has extensive experience in cataract, cornea, and refractive surgery co-management, including LASIK, PRK, and Visian ICL procedures. He works closely with surgical teams to guide patients through pre-operative evaluation, candidate selection, and post-operative care to ensure optimal outcomes.

At Southeast Eye Specialists, Dr. Parker also provides full-scope ocular disease management, including glaucoma care, posterior segment disease, and minor surgical procedures. His approach focuses on delivering personalized, patient-centered care while leveraging advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies.

Dr. Parker earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry and completed a residency in ocular disease and refractive surgery. During his training, he gained experience in advanced surgical co-management, anterior segment laser procedures, and treatment of complex eye conditions.

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians. He has also been recognized as Tennessee’s Young Optometrist of the Year.
