Courtney Ridner, M.D.

Dr. Courtney W. Ridner is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Southeast Eye Specialists, serving patients in Chattanooga and Cleveland, Tennessee. He specializes in cataract surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology, with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions.

Dr. Ridner provides advanced surgical and medical eye care, including cataract procedures, glaucoma management, and retinal evaluations. He also offers oculoplastic services, including Botox® and cosmetic treatments, enabling patients to receive both functional and aesthetic eye care in a single setting.

A Tennessee native, Dr. Ridner earned his medical degree from the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. He completed his internship in general surgery and later served as an active-duty Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force after completing aerospace medicine training.

Following his military service, Dr. Ridner returned to Tennessee to complete his ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University, where he received advanced training in medical and surgical eye care.

With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Ridner is known for delivering thorough, compassionate care and helping patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
